Modifying products

Creating or updating products come with a number of pre-requisites if you want to update certain fields.

Brands

• Brands other than "Generic" must exist in SkuVault before they can be used in the API.
• If the Generic brand has been disabled, it cannot be used.

Classifications

• Classifications other than "General" must exist in SkuVault before they can be used in the API.
• If the General classification has been disabled, it cannot be used.

Classification Attributes

Attributes are under the same constraints as Brands, Suppliers, and Classifications. They must exist in SkuVault first.

Suppliers

• Suppliers other than "Unknown" must exist in SkuVault before they can be used in the API.
• If the Unknown supplier has been disabled, it cannot be used.
